Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Maison Beline ("we", "us") collects when you visit or buy from the Maison Beline online store, why we collect it and the choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect

• Order information: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if you give it) and the items you buy. We need this to fulfil and support your order.
• Account information: if you create an account, your name, email address, saved addresses, wishlist and any reviews you write.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage information: anonymous, aggregated page-view statistics. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising profiles.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the store to work:

• a cart cookie that remembers what is in your bag, and
• session cookies set by our sign-in provider when you are signed in to your account.

Our analytics are cookieless, so we do not ask for cookie consent.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that run the store for us, and only as much as they need:

• Stripe (payments and fraud prevention)
• Clerk (account sign-in)
• Cloudflare (website hosting, security and anonymous analytics)
• Neon (database hosting)
• Resend (order emails)
• our production and shipping partners, to make and deliver your order.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting (usually six to seven years). If you delete your account, we remove your profile, addresses, wishlist and reviews' author details and keep only the order records we are legally required to keep, with your contact details removed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct their information and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To use any of these rights, email hello@maisonbeline.com. You can delete your account yourself from your account settings.

If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
